Sourced from the famous, steep, amphitheater-like slopes of the Trittenheimer Apotheke in the Mosel valley, this low-intervention Kabinett comes from old vines rooted in deep blue slate. The fruit is hand-harvested at low potential alcohol to ensure natural lightness, then fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in neutral vessels. Fermentation halts naturally to achieve a classic balance of delicate residual sweetness and high, driving acidity without heavy cellar manipulation. Bottled with minimal intervention, this electric, light-footed Mosel white showcases pure site specificity and pristine slate minerality.

A pale, translucent straw-yellow color with greenish highlights leads into lifted aromas of fresh lime zest, white peach, crushed blue slate, and damp moss. The palate is weightless and precise, delivering vibrant flavors of green apple, tart grapefruit, white melon, and a touch of salt-cured citrus. A razor-sharp beam of natural acidity cuts cleanly through the wine's delicate sweetness, giving the mid-palate an energetic, mouthwatering tension. It concludes on a long, clean finish defined by persistent stony minerality, lime pith, and a light floral lift.

Philipp Brundlmayer is part of the new generation in Austria, connected to one of the country's most respected wine families while building a voice of his own.
