Vincent Dancer is one of the cult names of Chassagne-Montrachet, admired for white Burgundies that feel pure, unforced and intensely connected to limestone. Originally from Alsace, Dancer took over family vineyards in Chassagne, Meursault, Puligny and other Cote de Beaune villages, choosing organic farming and a cellar style that avoids unnecessary intervention. The wines are fermented with native yeasts, raised with restraint and bottled with a sense of quiet confidence. They are not flashy; they are luminous, textural and precise, showing Chardonnay as a conductor of site rather than a vehicle for oak or richness.
