This natural dry rosé is a pure varietal expression of the aromatic Aleatico grape grown in northern Lazio. Winemaker Joy Kull sources the fruit from organically managed vineyards rooted deeply in iron-rich volcanic soils near Gradoli. The hand-picked grapes undergo a brief skin maceration for delicate color extraction before a completely spontaneous fermentation driven by native wild yeasts. It matures entirely in neutral fiberglass tanks and is bottled unfiltered with zero added sulfur.

It radiates a pale ruby-pink color, releasing lifted aromatics of fresh red berries, rose petals, and wild mountain herbs. On the palate, the light-bodied frame is exceptionally juicy and fluid, focusing on an energetic, high-toned fruit presentation. A racy line of volcanic acidity runs through the center, keeping the fluid mouthfeel thoroughly refreshed. Subtle notes of citrus rind add a savory depth across the textured mid-palate. It finishes completely dry and crisp, leaving a salty mineral trace.
