Wenzel Voodoo Child Wild + Free 2023: Wild + Free indeed! A skin-fermented Pinot Gris, resulting in an orange wine but with a color closer to red, due to Pinot Gris' dark berry color. The phenols extracted through skin fermentation are immediately present on the nose and on the palate, but the wine itself is clean, well structured and crisp. A true gem for fans of orange wine and a staff favorite here at Winemonger! Organically farmed grapes, minimal sulfur (15mg) and native yeast. Vegan
Lestignac Tempete 2021: Crafted from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the Lestignac Tempête 2021 is a vibrant and rustic red from Southwest France. It presents a nose of dark cherries and blackberries with subtle earthy undertones. The palate is defined by a beautiful balance of fresh acidity and fine tannins, offering a pure and juicy profile of red and black fruits that culminates in a smooth, lingering finish. This is a highly drinkable and expressive natural wine.
Arcuri Ciro Aris Gaglioppo 2020: Beautiful wine from the Ciro DOC in Calabria. We loved this wine, in the mouth had beautiful notes of strawberries, cherries, leather and spices. A bit of coffee and minerality as well, which complimented with great acidity made it a wine super interesting to have, and of great value for the price. Great expression of Calabria.
