This white Loire wine is a pure expression of sauvignon blanc crafted by natural winemaker Nicolas Barbou in Oisly. Sourced from old vines grown on poor sandy clay soils, the plots are managed under strict sustainable viticulture guidelines. The grapes are pressed gently and undergo a spontaneous fermentation driven by native wild yeasts in neutral French oak barrels. The wine matures on its fine fermentation lees for several months to encourage natural structural depth without wood dominance.

It pours a pale straw color, releasing clean aromatics of lemon flesh, yellow peach, and wild mountain herbs. A sleek, medium-bodied frame balances orchard fruit flavors with an underlying chiseled mineral core. A racy vein of natural acidity cuts through the slightly waxy mouthfeel, maintaining excellent structural tension. Subtle layers of maritime salinity add depth across the textured center without introducing heavy wood tones. It finishes completely bone-dry, leaving a persistent trace.
