Montenidoli Tradizionale Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG 2023

Montenidoli is Elisabetta Fagiuoli's singular estate above San Gimignano, where Tuscan history, organic farming and fierce independence meet. She arrived in the 1960s and gradually restored abandoned vineyards, olive trees and woods on a hillside whose name means mountain of little nests. Rather than chase fashion, she championed Vernaccia di San Gimignano with seriousness, showing that the local white variety can be structured, ageworthy and deeply expressive. The farming is organic and the cellar work is simple, allowing Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Vernaccia to speak in a voice that is rustic, luminous and unmistakably Tuscan.
