This single-vineyard red Burgundy is an artisanal expression of pinot noir sourced from the Au Quartier plot in Marsannay. The vineyard is situated directly below the esteemed Champs Perdrix hillside on limestone-rich slopes. Winemaker Bastien Gautheron utilizes low-intervention protocols, allowing the hand-harvested grapes to undergo a spontaneous fermentation driven by native wild vineyard yeasts. The wine matures naturally in neutral French oak barrels to naturally integrate its structural components without any wood dominance.

It pours a clear ruby color, releasing intense aromatics of dark cherry, wild raspberry, plum, and a hint of prune. On the palate, a medium-bodied frame balances ripe fruit flavors with a clean line of refreshing acidity. Soft, fine-grained tannins provide a smooth structural grip that keeps the fluid mouthfeel balanced and precise. The mid-palate reveals a beautiful purity that shows excellent regional character. It finishes long, dry, and clean, leaving a light mineral trail.
