This artisanal red Burgundy is a pure pinot noir crafted by Pierre Fenals from a single acre of sixty-five-year-old vines in Aloxe-Corton. The estate vineyard is managed under strict certified biodynamic viticulture protocols to protect the natural structural balance of the site. The hand-harvested fruit undergoes a traditional whole-cluster fermentation driven entirely by native wild yeasts inside neutral wooden tuns. The wine matures for several months in ten-year-old neutral oak barrels before bottling unfiltered without sulfur.

It pours a translucent ruby color, opening with expressive aromas of fresh red berries, bramble fruit, and field flowers. On the palate, the medium-bodied, fluid frame pairs crunchy fruit profiles with a fine-grained, silky tannin structure. Savory notes of pomegranate, woodsmoke, and undergrowth spices add depth across the mid-palate volume. A clean wave of limestone acidity cuts right through the texture, maintaining great freshness. It finishes completely bone-dry, leaving a savory trail.
