Château Le Puy is a historic winery in the Bordeaux region of France, recognized as a pioneer in biodynamic and natural winemaking. The Amoreau family has owned and farmed the property since 1610, resisting the use of chemical products and commercial trends for centuries. The estate has never used synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and was among the first in France to gain organic and biodynamic certifications. They maintain a balanced, self-sustaining ecosystem by preserving a significant portion of their land as forests and wild areas. The winery briefly gained international attention when its 2003 vintage was featured in the Japanese manga series The Drops of God. Following a dispute over appellation rules in 2017, the winery left the Francs Côtes de Bordeaux appellation and bottles its wine as "Vin de France" to maintain its traditional winemaking style.
