This rosé wine is a blend of zweigelt and blaufränkisch from a vineyard Gut Oggau dedicates entirely to rosé. The vineyard is Demeter-certified biodynamic. After about a day on the skins, the juice ferments spontaneously in used oak barrels of 500 to 1,500 liters and ages about 8 months. It is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulfur.

It pours a bright, deep salmon-pink, opening with wild strawberry, red currant, and blood orange. On the palate, the light-bodied frame balances tart red fruit with a subtle, savory grip. Dried herbs and a mineral note sit underneath. Lively acidity keeps it crisp. It finishes dry, juicy, and clean.
