This volcanic white wine is a traditional blend of carricante and grecanico dorato grown on Mount Etna. Frank Cornelissen utilizes a brief skin maceration to emphasize fruit purity and freshness over heavy orange wine styles. The hand-harvested grapes ferment spontaneously with native wild yeasts, followed by a long maturation process in the coldest part of the cellar. This low-intervention protocol ensures the natural mineral density develops without any wood barrel manipulation.

It displays a pale straw hue with a slight reductive character, releasing clean aromatics of yellow orchard fruit. On the palate, a medium-bodied, texturally driven frame balances crisp apple flavors with an underlying smoky core. A lively wave of natural acidity cuts through the waxy texture, maintaining great freshness. Subtle notes of crushed rocks and flint add a savory depth across the clean mouthfeel.
