This old-vine red wine comes from the specific Champagne lieu-dit parcel situated within the Fleurie appellation. Jean-Louis Dutraive manages the ancient Gamay bush vines under certified organic viticulture protocols to protect local biodiversity. The hand-picked fruit undergoes a spontaneous primary fermentation using native vineyard yeasts, completely avoiding commercial additions. The wine matures in neutral French oak casks to allow the volcanic granite soils to speak clearly without new wood interference.

It displays a bright purple-ruby color, releasing intense aromas of crushed red cherries, wild strawberries, and fresh rose petals. On the palate, a medium-bodied frame balances a juicy core of fruit with an underlying stony mineral baseline. The fine-grained, chalky tannins provide a smooth texture that frames the mid-palate cleanly without feeling heavy.
