Named for the ancient meteorite crater in which the vineyards are rooted, this white wine reflects a singular geology in Faugères. The estate plots are farmed organically on shattered schist soils surrounding the two-hundred-meter-wide impact bowl. The blend co-ferments roussanne, vermentino, and viognier using low-intervention protocols in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. This zero-oak process focuses entirely on capturing the natural energy, freshness, and floral nuances driven by the site.

It pours a pale straw-yellow color, releasing aromas of fresh lemon, yellow peach, and white flowers. On the palate, a sleek, medium-bodied frame balances orchard fruit flavors with an underlying stony mineral core. A lively wave of natural acidity cuts through the waxy texture, maintaining great freshness. Subtle notes of grapefruit pith and raw almond add a savory depth across the clean mouthfeel. It finishes completely dry and crisp, leaving a lingering saline trace.
