Named in honor of Stéphane’s grandfather, this red blend combines equal parts poulsard, trousseau, and pinot noir from biodynamic Arbois vineyards. The winemaking emphasizes a low-intervention approach, using spontaneous native fermentations without any chemical additives. The fruit is vinified in neutral vessels and bottled entirely without added sulfur to protect its fresh regional identity. This natural process yields a light, crunchy red focused on immediate energy and drinkability.

It pours a translucent, light ruby color, opening with fragrant aromas of fresh raspberry, watermelon, and rose hips. On the palate, the light-bodied frame is juicy and fluid, offering an approachable mix of red berries and wild herbs. Soft, fine-grained tannins provide a gentle grip that structures the mouthfeel nicely. A clean, central thread of mountain acidity cuts through the volume, maintaining excellent freshness. It finishes dry and savory, leaving a light mineral trace.

Stéphane Tissot and his wife Bénédicte have 35 hectares of vineyards “cultivated in bio-dynamic viticulture (certified by Demeter) to allow the soils to live, to have grapes untouched by chemical products, to allow natural yeast fermentations, to reduce the doses of sulfur in the cellar.”

They produce truly unique, terroir-driven natural wines, wines we love, admire, and cherish. These are without doubt some of our most prized wines. 

André and Mireille Tissot founded their estate in 1962, in the village of Montigny-les-Arsures, in the Jura. Stéphane took over from his father with a new vision and converted it to chemical-free farming, organic and then biodynamic. They are meticulous in their farming and in the cellar, producing up to 28 unique cuvees.
