Milan Nestarec Danger 380 Volts 2025
Milan NestarecGrape: Müller-Thurgau, Neuburger, Muscat
Vintage: 2025
Type: Sparkling
This sparkling wine is a pét-nat from Milan Nestarec in Moravia, Czech Republic, made mostly from müller-thurgau with neuburger and muscat. The grapes come from his organic, sandy Sahary vineyard, planted in 2003. The juice ferments on native yeasts and is bottled under crown cap before fermentation finishes, so the last of it happens in the bottle and makes the bubbles. Since 2021 it has been disgorged for a cleaner, more precise style.
It pours a cloudy pale lemon with a lively fizz, opening with grapefruit, lime, and green apple. On the palate, the light-bodied frame balances zippy citrus with a hint of nectarine and floral muscat. A yeasty, chalky note sits underneath. Brisk acidity keeps it electric. It finishes dry, crisp, and refreshing.
