Presented in a magnum format for slow development, this red wine is sourced from old bush vines in the Champagne parcel of Fleurie. Jean-Louis Dutraive applies low-intervention methods to build a fresh expression of the traditional granitic Beaujolais cru. Spontaneous fermentation relies entirely on native wild yeasts in large neutral concrete tanks, ensuring a transparent look at the local terroir. The wine ages in neutral oak barrels to emphasize the bright fruit profiles and regional freshness.

It radiates a luminous ruby hue, releasing expressive aromas of tart red currants, pomegranate seeds, and fresh rosemary. On the palate, the light-to-medium body is juicy and direct, focusing on an energetic fruit presentation. Soft, delicate tannins integrate smoothly with a clean mineral baseline that gives the wine excellent lift. A snappy, vibrant acidity cuts through the mid-palate, keeping the mouthfeel light and lively. It finishes dry and clean, leaving a light, savory trail.
