This organic red wine is crafted by Jean-Louis Dutraive from his estate vineyard in Fleurie, presented in a magnum format. The hand-harvested Gamay grapes are vinified using low-intervention protocols, featuring a completely spontaneous whole-cluster fermentation with native wild yeasts. The wine matures on its fine fermentation lees inside old neutral French oak barrels, completely avoiding modern styling or synthetic adjustments. This zero-makeup cellar process builds natural structural stability while protecting fruit purity.

It pours a translucent ruby color, opening with a complex nose of wild cherry, red currant, and fresh violet flowers. On the palate, a medium-bodied frame balances orchard berry fruit with an underlying stony mineral core. A vibrant wave of granite-driven acidity cuts right through the textured mouthfeel, keeping the wine lively. Subtle notes of fresh herbs and crushed flint develop as the liquid opens up. It finishes long, dry, and clean, leaving a savory impression.
