Sourced from the Fossa di Lupo vineyard in Vittoria, this frappato represents a site-specific study in low-intervention Sicilian viticulture. Winemaker Arianna Occhipinti manages the estate organically, focusing on own-rooted vines planted in sandy soils rich in limestone fragments. Spontaneous fermentation relies entirely on native vineyard yeasts in concrete vats, incorporating zero modern additives. It ages for nearly two years in neutral Slavonian oak casks to allow the tannins to resolve naturally without wood makeup.

It shows a clear garnet-ruby color, releasing fragrant aromas of fresh violets, wild strawberries, orange peel, and white pepper. A sleek, medium-bodied frame pairs bright red fruit flavors with a savory undertone of dried tobacco leaf. A lively, limestone-driven acidity slices through the mid-palate, keeping the fluid mouthfeel balanced and fresh. Silky, fine-grained tannins integrate smoothly with an underlying mineral salinity. It finishes long, dry, and clean, leaving a persistent impression.
