Joseph Colin comes from one of the great white-wine families of Saint-Aubin, but his domaine has quickly established its own clear voice. After working at Domaine Marc Colin, Joseph created his own estate from family parcels in Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Santenay. The approach is precise and classical: careful farming, restrained use of oak, native fermentations and an emphasis on capturing the tension of limestone-rich sites. His wines show why Saint-Aubin has moved from insider secret to essential Burgundy address, combining citrus, stone, salinity and enough flesh to feel complete without ever becoming heavy.
