This single-vineyard red wine is crafted by Jean-Louis Dutraive from the Chapelle des Bois parcel, presented in a magnum format. The Gamay vines are rooted in pure granite soils that naturally restrict yields and concentrate aromatic lift. The hand-picked grapes undergo a traditional whole-cluster carbonic maceration with native wild yeasts in neutral containers. The wine ages in seasoned wood barrels to allow the structural components to settle naturally without filtration or heavy cellar additions.

It pours a translucent ruby-purple color, opening with vivid aromas of fresh red cherry, wild raspberry, and violet petals. On the palate, the light-to-medium body is racy and energetic, pairing crunchy red currant fruit with a distinct mineral tension. Fine-grained, soft tannins provide a smooth framework that coordinates nicely with the clean acidity. Subtle notes of white pepper and damp earth develop nicely across the fluid mouthfeel. It finishes completely bone-dry, leaving a lingering mineral trail.
