At over 15 years old, this bottling has had time few Sonoma Coast pinots get to show.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt displays a brick-edged garnet color, opening with dried cherry, forest floor, and a savory, earthy depth that comes with age. On the palate, the medium-bodied frame has settled into something quieter than its youth, balancing softened fruit against a resolved, silky tannin structure. Acidity remains bright and has kept the wine from fading. Secondary notes of mushroom and dried leaf have layered in over the fruit.
