Lara Rocchetti and Luisa Sala farm their vineyards organically around Monforte d'Alba and La Morra. About half the grapes ferment as whole clusters in concrete, a technique they learned in Burgundy. The wine then ages in oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt pours a pale, bright ruby, opening with red cherry, raspberry, and rose. On the palate, the light-to-medium-bodied frame balances juicy red fruit with fine, gentle tannins. A floral, spicy note from the whole clusters sits underneath. Fresh acidity keeps it lifted and lively.
