The Amoreau family has farmed the estate since 1610 and has never used synthetic treatments; it is now certified biodynamic. Fermentation uses only native yeasts, and the wine is raised for about 24 months in old barrels with racking timed to the lunar calendar. It is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulfur.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt pours a deep garnet, opening with black cherry, plum, and violets. On the palate, the full-bodied frame balances concentrated dark fruit with fine, polished tannins. Graphite, tobacco, and a mineral note sit underneath. Fresh acidity keeps the richness lifted and precise.
